JL Sitemap v2.0.0

Updated sitemap component for Joomla - JL Sitemap version 2.0.0. The extension is support for Joomla 4 / Joomla 5.

 The main task of the release is to update the component in its current state to the Joomla 4 / Joomla 5 extension architecture so that it can work without the backward compatibility plugin. Some bug fixes were performed as a side job.

What's new?

  • the component has been updated to the Joomla 4 / Joomla 5 architecture. Successfully tested on Joomla 4.4.x and Joomla 5.1.x
  • the plugins included in the package have been updated to the Joomla 4 / Joomla 5 architecture.
  • XML sitemap generation works with the Joomla 5 backward compatibility plugin disabled.
  • Add informational messages after generating the site map. 

Deleted

  • Support for Joomla 3 has been removed. This version of the component will not install and will not work on Joomla 3.
  • The plugin for K2 has been removed. Component K2 has no versions for Joomla 5.

Error correction

  • JL Sitemap - error when generating a sitemap on Joomla 5.1 
  • Error in the Kunena plugin on Joomla 4+ in version 1.12.0 
  • Articles/categories/etc. with noindex selected in Publishing settings shouldn't be in sitemap
